The Protecview is a UL/FM listed aspirating smoke detector. The Protecview is intended for early detection, early response, and early recovery of fires by monitoring the signs of fire with a high-precision sensor.
Features of FDNA002-R
- Smoke detection covers a wide range of sensitivities, from super-high to low levels (0.001 to 20%/m).
- Large flow rate fan (Maximum shutoff pressure: At least 350Pa, Maximum flow rate: At least 170ℓ/min).
- Detects smoke particles of various sizes using the Total Scattered Light Detection Principle.
- Easily monitor smoke density in real time using bar graph indicators.
- Event log function supports up to 18,000 events per detector (including detector status, smoke density trends, etc.).

Sampling Fan
- The turbo-type large flow rate sampling fan stirs the sampled air to make it uniform, then directs part of it to the sensing chamber through the filter.
- With its powerful aspiration capacity, the fan efficiently samples and introduces air into the detector, even in strong winds and through long sampling pipes.
Filter
The filter removes dust from the sampled air, which may cause contamination in the detector and trigger false alarms, allowing the system to measure smoke density with high accuracy over an extended period.
Sensing Chamber
- Inside the sensing chamber, a laser beam irradiates the sampled air, and the light-receiving element detects the light scattered by the smoke particles.
- The Total Scattered Light Detection Principle emits the laser beam over a wide range, allowing it to detect various particle sizes, from very small (0.1μm or less) to larger ones.
- The automatic control function keeps the laser beam output constant, maintaining high sensitivity for extended periods.
- As a result, the system achieves a wide smoke detection range of 0.001 to 20%/m.
