Description of FIRU009-R-LCD

The FIRU009-R-LCD is a high-performance LCD remote annunciator designed for the Integlex Multicrest™ N3060 Fire Alarm Control Panel. It uses an RS-485 connection to communicate with the N3060 FACP, providing real-time indications of Alarm, Supervisory, and Trouble statuses, as well as offering system control functionalities.This annunciator is equipped with a 40 letters x 4 lines LCD display, 11 status LEDs, a built-in buzzer, and six system control switches. Together, these components provide clear and precise feedback about the system’s status. The status LEDs indicate critical system conditions, such as Power On, Alarm, General Alarm, Supervisory, Pre-Discharge, Discharge, and Signal Silence. Additionally, specific LEDs highlight potential issues like Battery Trouble, Ground Fault, and Trouble. The buzzer ensures immediate notification to operators during critical events.Control Functions
The system control switches can only be operated when the key lock switch is in the enable position. This added security ensures that only authorized personnel can manage the system controls. These switches offer the same functionality as the switches on the N3060 Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), making the FIRU009-R-LCD an essential extension of the main panel.
Advanced Connectivity
The FIRU009-R-LCD supports NFPA Class B (Style 4) wiring for remote annunciator connections. It can accommodate a maximum cable length of 1.2 km (4000 ft) and supports up to 30 remote annunciators per N3060 FACP. Each annunciator in the system is assigned a unique number for easy identification, set using rotary switches.
Power Requirements
The annunciator operates using a 24 VDC input, which can be provided either from the N3060 FACP or a remote power source. The FIRU009-R-LCD efficiently converts the 24 VDC input to 5V and 3.3V to power its internal circuits.
