Description

  • The Short Circuit Isolator (FQIU004-SCI) provides additional reliability for fire protection systems by isolating segments of the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) where short circuits occur. This function ensures the rest of the loop can continue monitoring and operating. The FQIU004-SCI features a red LED to indicate its status. In normal conditions, the LED stays deactivated. Once a short circuit happens, the FQIU004-SCI immediately cuts off the affected circuit and activates the LED. When the issue is resolved, the isolator restores normal function and turns off the LED.
