Description

  • The FRRU004-MCM Miniature Contact Module is a compact device designed to monitor the contact status of an initiating device that contains a normally open or normally closed contact. This module plays a crucial role in fire alarm systems by supervising the contacts and reporting their status to the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP).
  • When the normally open contact is selected, and the contact closes, the FRRU004-MCM immediately sends a report to the FACP. Similarly, when a normally closed contact is used, and it opens, the module also updates the control panel.
  • This miniature contact module supervises an open circuit linked to the C and NO (NC) terminals. Its compact design makes it ideal for use in pull stations or other fire safety devices housed in electrical boxes or enclosures.
  • Additionally, the module features a UL-listed terminal block, ensuring that it meets safety standards by protecting against short circuits and ground faults. As a result, the FRRU004-MCM offers reliable performance in monitoring fire alarm systems.
