Description
- The N₂ storage cylinder, model NN83CU, is used as a component of the NN100 Fire Extinguishing System.
- This cylinder, which has an actual volume of 83 liters (2.93 ft³), is filled with pure Nitrogen compressed gas and will provide a free agent volume of 20.3m³ (716 ft³) at 0.1014MPa, 20°C (14.7psia, 68°F), when pressurized to 27.9MPa, 20°C (4047 psi, 68°F).
All cylinders are equipped with an automatic pressure-regulating valve. - This valve quickly discharges the agent and has a mechanism which controls the discharging pressure to less than the pilot pressure, 10.0MPa at 20°C (1450psi at 68°F).
The cylinder is made of seamless steel and complies with the High Pressure Gas Safety Law of Japan.
