Description of PCA-N3060-FIM2
- The PCA-N3060-FIM2 serves as an interface module that connects FACP systems using fiber optic cables. It supports fiber optic cable lengths of up to 5 kilometers, while the PCA-2707XA FIM accommodates cables up to 2 kilometers long. This flexibility ensures the system can cover a wide range of installations.This module consists of two boards—PCA-N3060-FIM2-A and PCA-N3060-FIM2-B—which must work together for optimal performance. These boards enable the system to communicate over a single-mode fiber optic network. Designed to work alongside the Network Interface Unit (PCA-2706XA NIU), the PCA-N3060-FIM2 mounts directly under the PCA-2706XA NIU inside the FACP cabinet.To convert and transmit data across the network, the PCA-N3060-FIM2 processes optical data from other FACPs. It relies on a steady 24 VDC power supply from the Power Supply Unit (PCA-N3060-PSU), ensuring consistent operation.
The module includes a built-in status LED that lights up green when it detects a normal 24 VDC power supply, providing real-time power monitoring for users.
