Description of PCA-N3060-SCU
- The PCA-N3060-SCU is a microprocessor-based circuit assembly. It comes equipped with two Signal Line Circuits. Each SLC can support up to 127 or 255 addressable devices. The number of devices per loop is adjustable through the PC-based Configuration Program. If long wiring is required, use a maximum of 127 devices with 50 ohms loop resistance and 0.5µF loop capacitance. For more devices, you can use up to 255 devices with 25 ohms loop resistance and 0.4µF loop capacitance. The PCA-N3060-SCU connects with addressable devices on its SLCs and applies to NFPA Class A (Styles 6 and 7) or Class B (Style 4). A green LED flashes per SLC to show that the monitoring function is working correctly. When the PCA-N3060-SCU detects an issue, it sends a signal (Alarm, Supervisory, or Trouble) to the main control unit (PCA-N3060-MCU). The power supply unit (PCA-N3060-PSU) then alerts the system operator to the condition.
The Intelec Multicrest N3060 control panel supports up to 12 SLCs.
