SK-270WP is a waterproof handy digital thermometer ideal for measuring food temperature. This model includes a standard probe S270WP-01.

Feature

When the temperature of measuring object reaches the set value, a timer automatically starts. When it reaches the set time, the buzzer sounds and the LED lights.

There is no sticker on the body to prevent contamination.

Resistant body to water, impact, heat and alcohol

The SK-270WP features a body made from polycarbonate resin, offering enhanced resistance to heat, impact, and alcohol over conventional ABS resin. It boasts an IP67 waterproof rating, allowing for washing under running water even when connected to a probe and compatibility with alcohol wipes. Moreover, the manufacturer uses PET resin to construct the display section and keypad of the device.

Rubber around the side of the body reduces the damages due to falling. The design of the device minimizes the number of holes and ditches to reduce the risk of contamination. The slanted back improves the readability of the display.

Various sensor probes are provided for a variety of applications.

We offer traceable calibration and JCSS-certified calibration (JCSS is Japan’s official authority acquired ILAC MRA) to meet requirements of ISO-level management of measuring instruments. Each calibration is done as a set of a main unit and a probe.

What is HACCP?

HACCP, standing for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point, is a system that manages food safety by continuously analyzing and controlling biological, chemical, and physical hazards. This approach spans the entire process from raw material production and procurement to the distribution and consumption of the finished product. Nowadays, an increasing number of manufacturers are adopting this system, finding it more effective in preventing the shipment of defective products compared to traditional spot checks on final products.

HACCP function

Measurement of temperature of a center of a target object is the top priority for HACCP management.

SK-270WP has a function to automatically count the set time when the temperature reaches the set value, named as HACCP function.

As the device memorizes three patterns, you can monitor three different required temperatures for different objects with one machine.

Three factory-set major temperatures (75, 90, and 100°C) can be changed for your preference.

Example: 75°C, 1 min.

1) The temperature of the target reaches 75°C.

2) Countdown of 1 minute begins.

3) If the temperature falls below 75°C within 1 minute, the countdown is canceled and the process returns to 1).

4) Buzzer and LED are activated when the countdown finishes.
