Features

• Water Mist Nozzle changes 0.4MPa pressurized clean water into a fine mist, increasing the surface area where the misted water can absorb heat, maximizing the evaporation rate of the water.
• During the evaporation process, heat is absorbed from the flame and smoke, lowering the temperature.
• In addition, when the air around the flame is blocked by the spreading water vapor, the concentration of flammable vapor and oxygen on the surface of the burning material decreases, so the flame is extinguished.

IP22 Test for Electrical Equipment

• Electrical equipment installed within the mist’s influence range is required to have a protective outer casing of IP44 or higher.
• The nozzles used in the Softex system have been tested under the supervision of a third party and confirmed to pose no risk of electric shock or short circuit to electrical equipment. (Can also be used on IP22 electrical equipment)
