Structure and operating principle
- Torque is transmitted by the ball ② pressed into the hole by the force of the torque transmission spring (Fig. 1).
- When torque exceeding the overload
setting is applied, the ball ② escapes from the hole against the spring force and is allowed to rotate freely by the retention mechanism (Fig. 2). - Simply align the reset
position mark and then push in the plunger ③ to reset it easily.
The sensor can be activated by the protruding action of the overload sensing plunger. - Turning the adjuster ④ inside the torque adjustment
element to the right increases the transmitted torque. This is done with the element removed from the flange. This is to prevent an outsider from accidentally moving the adjuster and causing an accident. - Free rotation retention mechanismAfter
an overload, the torque releaser rotates freely.This is because when the ball ② escapes from the hole ①, the plunger ③ is pushed backwards, and the small ball ⑦ on its circumference is pushed into the angle race (6 x 8) against the force of the spring ⑤, as shown in Figure 2, and the thrust of the plunger no longer acts.
