This is a slave module for rotary VR resolver of IRD series.
It can connect one or two resolvers and measure the angle position.

IRDS-VR10 : single rotary resolver
IRDS-VR20 : two rotary resolvers
The data is transferred to the industrial network through IRD
master module. (CC-Link, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS)
Possible to have analogue or digital output from other slave modules in IRD system. (IRDS-AIO, AO4 and DO)
Possible to set or change the inside parameters through IRD master module over host industrial network or the dedicated Windows software (IRD Manager).
Possible to set preset value and alarm output
(Z type for single unit has the external input and output.)
Possible to set upper and lower limit output.
Self diagnosis function : cable error, module power supply error

When IRDS-VR10-□-Z would be connected with IRDM which equips the industrial network, the external preset input becomes the logical OR. And if this module has any error, the external alarm output becomes ON. The content of external alarm output of IRDM is the same as logical output, but by this output user can distinguish what module detects abnormality.
