Features
- It is widely used in the various industrial fields due to the fact that the indication and the temperature measuring parts can be isolated up to 20m away as remote measuring type, utilizing temperature change led by enclosed liquefied gas.
- Compared to mercury (liquid) filled type thermometer as remote measuring gauge, following features are found.
- Smaller and lower price
- Measuring error due to the height differences between indicating part and sensing part is small, in addition, the influence of the ambient temperature of the conduit section is small.
- Better responsiveness
- Unequal-pitch scale is designed since interval of scale gradually becomes wider between low and high temperature ranges.
- The temperature range is smaller, capable to produce up to 200 degrees.

- When selecting the thermometer, the material of the wetted part must conform to the measuring fluid for safety and sufficient performance.
- Also please note that the temperature range to be measured is within the range of 30–60% of the whole scale.
