Relief valve
Prevents system damage (air chamber, pump, pipes) caused by dead-head operation if the discharge valve is closed or blocked. It opens automatically at a preset pressure. Protect the line against freezing risks.
Installation Note: Mount above the tank’s liquid level when returning chemicals. Ensure the discharge outlet is vented to the atmosphere to prevent secondary backpressure from reducing the set pressure.
Back-Pressure Valve
Prevents over-feeding and pulsating flow caused by insufficient differential pressure between suction and discharge sides. Applying discharge backpressure seats the pump’s check ball tightly, stabilizing the flow rate.
Anti-Siphon Valve
Prevents self-discharge (siphoning) when the discharge-side pressure is lower than the suction side.
