MAGMAX® EGM5300C is a compact type electromagnetic flowmeter. This is a combination of EGS5000 flange type primary head with a ceramic measuring tube and EGC300 high performance, high reliable converter. 10 sizes from 2.5 to 100 mm are available. This meter excels in corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, and durability. The functions such as fluid noise rejection and self-diagnosis have been progressed. It is most suitable for precise flow measurement of corrosive liquids and abrasive liquids such as chemicals and slurries.
Features
- Self-diagnosis functions such as empty detection, conductivity monitoring, electrode status check, and analog output monitoring are provided.
- All setting parameters can be set / changed with infrared touch sensor without taking off the housing cover.
- HART® communication provided as standard.
- For fluid contact materials, ceramic measuring tube and platinum electrodes are employed; high performance in corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, and durability has been implemented.
- High accuracy remains in a long term thanks to the dimensionally stable measuring tube.
- Reducing tube is employed; the influence of fluid distribution at the upstream side is reduced. The accuracy and stability have been progressed, and the strength of measuring tube has been increased.
- For the detecting part, stainless housing is used.
- High accuracy of ±0.5% of reading.
- Quick response by high speed signal handling is performed; this meter is suitable for batch process and pulsating flow process.
- Excitation current frequency can be adjusted up to twice of main frequency which is effective for slurry noise rejection.
- Easy visible blue dot matrix LCD indicator offers flexible indication by 1, 2 or 3 lines.
- A quick set-up function offers easy data setting / change in scale range and pulse rate.
- High pulse rate up to 10 kHz offers high resolution for batch control.
- The functions such as pulse output, bi-directional flow measurement, double ranges, status output, control input are provided as standard.
