This positioning jig, known as AccuCenter, enables precise workpiece alignment on a milling machine and ensures accurate setup before cutting begins. Because accurate centering directly affects machining quality, this tool helps you establish a reliable reference point quickly and efficiently. You grip it securely using a drill chuck or collet, and its slightly offset tip creates controlled eccentric motion for precise edge detection. While rotating the spindle at 400 to 600 revolutions per minute, you slowly feed the tip toward the edge of the workpiece to detect alignment. Once runout disappears, you set the feed handle scale to 3 mm, which completes the positioning process. Since the centering bar tip has a diameter of 6 mm, it automatically positions the workpiece at a radius of 3 mm. As a result, AccuCenter simplifies setup, improves alignment accuracy, and enhances overall machining precision.
