This replaceable-tip turning cutting tool is specially designed for small lathes, including the Universal Precision Lathe Compact 7, and features a dedicated blade shape ideal for cutting sticky, hard workpieces such as stainless steel. This cutting tool series features a lineup of tips made from fine-grain carbide with a special coating for excellent heat, adhesion, and wear resistance. This value set includes four tools. The parting tools are hardened, just like those for larger machines. The parting tips are TiN-coated. It comes in four sizes: an 8mm square right-hand single-edged/straight blade and an 8x10mm parting/boring tool, each with a carbide tip for stainless steel.
