What is a Cylinder polishing unit
The GU-1 is a cylindrical grinding attachment for an engine lathe, capable of inside diameter grinding, outside diameter grinding, end face grinding, thread grinding, taper grinding, concentric grinding, and precise cutting
Fixed on the lathe’s bit holder, it saves you the time of changeover from cutting to grinding and the time of centering, yet delivering precise grinding quality.
The GU-1 consists of several units and can be used with different spindles and grinding wheels from 3-mm shank-mounted points to 100-mm straight wheels depending on the workpiece sizes.
Diamond and CBN wheels are also available for high-precision grinding.

Caution
- Be sure to use a 3-piece set of filter, regulator, and Euler for the airline.
- Please note that if you use high pressure air above the specified value, the rotation will increase too much and the peripheral speed limit of the grindstone may be exceeded, resulting in damage.
