Yasec’s FLEX U+ is a facing machine that can achieve highly efficient turning without rotating the workpiece.
It is most effective for workpieces whose rotational speed cannot be achieved with the spindle chuck of NC/general-purpose lathes.
The ATC (automatic tool changer) enables smooth machining of complex shapes that require the use of several types of tools.
They can be installed facing each other or in three directions, enabling simultaneous processing from multiple directions and reducing cycle time.

Features

It consists of the U-axis, which moves the cutting tool in the radial direction, and the Z-axis, which moves the processing unit in the linear direction.
Each axis is controlled by NC, and the inner and outer diameters and end faces of the workpiece can be machined quickly and with high precision.
