Purpose

Sprinkler, water spray, and foam fire extinguishing systems use the YAVS-II wet-type water flow detection valve, which complies with the technical standards of the Fire Service Act (Article 21-2, Paragraph 2). Pressurized water or foam solution constantly fills both the primary side (inlet) and secondary side (outlet). Opening a closed sprinkler head or release valve drops the secondary-side pressure, forcing the valve body open. As the pressurized fluid flows to the secondary side, the device automatically detects the internal flow and triggers an alarm.
