Purpose

The YAVS-II is a wet-type water flow detection valve for sprinkler, water spray, or foam fire extinguishing systems. It meets the technical standards of the ministerial ordinance under Article 21-2, Paragraph 2 of the Fire Service Act. When a user opens a closed sprinkler head or simultaneous opening valve, the secondary-side pressure drops, lifting the valve body. This allows pressurized water or foam solution to flow from the primary side (inlet) to the secondary side (outlet). The device then automatically detects this internal water flow and triggers an alarm signal.
