※Notes:
●When installing the primer, be careful not to protrude or fly. Once completely cured, the primer will firmly adhere to the substrate and will not dissolve in organic solvents.
Please wipe it clean with a cloth soaked in toluene etc. as soon as possible on the day of construction. Please be aware that if you scrape or otherwise remove the adhesive after it has hardened, you may damage the underlying surface during removal.
Construction Procedure
1 Meeting before construction
Thoroughly consider the fit of the joints (shape and dimensions, secondary drainage treatment, construction conditions, etc.).
2 Preparation before construction
Please select materials, primers, auxiliary materials, and prepare construction instructions.
3.Inspection before construction
Please check the construction location, joint shape, dimensions and level differences.
Check for defects on the adherend (jumpers, chips, cracks, etc.) and repair as necessary.
4 Cleaning and drying the base
Check whether the adherend is sufficiently dry.
To prevent adhesion failure due to oil, dirt, dust, etc., carefully clean the surface to be adhered by wiping it dry and then wiping it with a clean cloth soaked in solvent.
Choose a cleaning solvent that can sufficiently remove oil, dirt, and other factors that inhibit adhesion from the adherend (such as methylcyclohexane). Please use n-hexane to dissolve the painted surface.
5 Loading backup material
Load backup material appropriate for the joint dimensions.
If there is not enough room for the depth of the joint, attach a bond breaker to the bottom to ensure two-sided adhesion. (For working joints)
6 Paste masking tape
Please be careful not to let the tape dig into the surface to which it is attached.
No adhesive remains, and the solvent used in the primer does not have a negative effect on adhesion. Use masking tape.
7 Primer application
Apply evenly with a brush to avoid uneven application.
Be careful when applying the primer so that it does not scatter or protrude.
Please ensure the specified drying time and fill the sealant within the effective time after application.
8 Filling with sealant
Consider the nozzle angle and filling speed so that sufficient pressure can be applied to the adherend using a nozzle that matches the width of the joint, and that it can fill to the bottom of the joint. 3 Inspection before construction
9 Spatula finish
After filling the sealant, finish it immediately with a spatula.
When finishing with a spatula, apply sufficient pressure to create a smooth finish.
10 Masking tape removal
The masking tape adhesive may transfer to the adherend, so please remove the masking tape immediately after filling.
11. Cleaning around the joints
12. Curing of sealant
13. Comprehensive inspection
*During construction, performance cannot be achieved unless materials are used appropriately. Please follow the construction procedures, etc. when handling.
