- Supports EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET
- 400/600W
- Geared types also available
Features
Servo motor equipped with a battery-less absolute sensor
The AZX series features the same battery-free mechanical absolute sensor (ABZO sensor) found in the AZ series.
Mechanical sensors retain position information even when power is off
Multi-rotation absolute sensor: Detects the absolute position within ±900 rotations (a total of 1800 rotations) of the motor shaft from the reference origin.
No external sensor required
Because it operates as an absolute system, there is no need for origin or limit sensors.
merit
-
- High speed return to origin + Improved return to origin accuracy
- Cost reduction
- Reduced wiring
- Not affected by external sensor malfunctions
Battery-less
Mechanical sensors do not require batteries.
Position information is managed mechanically by the ABZO sensor.
merit
-
- No need to replace batteries
- Free driver installation
- Reliable overseas shipping
Network-enabled drivers
The driver is compatible with EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET.
A single communication cable can be used to connect the host control device and the driver, reducing the amount of wiring required.
Sequence function simplifies the main program .
The AZX series positioning operation is equipped with a wide range of sequence functions, such as linked operation, timer settings between operations, conditional branching, loop count, etc.
These can be set using the support software MEXE02, simplifying the sequence program of the upper system.
* EtherCAT compatible drivers are not included.
Positioning operation data setting value (maximum 256 points)
General purpose input/output points (6 inputs, 6 outputs)
Number of communication inputs/outputs (16 inputs, 16 outputs)
High torque at high speeds
The AZX series provides high torque at high speeds, making it suitable for positioning applications with large travel distances (e.g. driving ball screws).
- *Comparison of rotation speed-torque characteristics between the AZX series and AZ series.
The AZX series has torque advantages in the high speed range, while the AZ series has torque advantages in the low speed range.
The basic operation is the same as the AZ series.
The AZX series has the same basic operation as the AZ series.
When using the AZX series and AZ series together in the same device, there is no need to change the operability.
