Linear Actuators

In linear actuators, the stepping motor itself internally converts rotary motion to linear motion, eliminating the need for transmission mechanisms such as belts, pulleys, racks, and pinions.

Haydon’s linear actuators feature an integrated design where the nut is cut inside the rotor of the stepping motor, allowing the screw to move directly. This design eliminates the need for coupling parts between the motor and the lead screw (slide screw), further saving space.

As package units, we offer multiple linear rail systems, including slide guide types and ball guide types, to meet geometric and mechanical requirements. Additionally, we provide custom lines for applications that require short strokes and high precision.

For component parts, we offer a lineup of spline shafts and guide rails. We can also accommodate requests for backlash-free designs and TFE coatings.

Lead Screws
