Non-Contact Pass-Line Straightening
The electromagnetic strip stabilizer uses an electromagnet and eddy-current displacement sensor to detect and correct C-wrapping and vibration, keeping steel sheets flat and stable. Its simple design, consisting of an electromagnet, sensor, control unit, and power unit, ensures reliable operation and easy maintenance.

Configuration Example of electromagnetic strip stabilizer
In molten zinc galvanizing lines, steel sheets pass through molten zinc at temperatures above 420°C and speeds up to 200 m/min. C-wrapping and vibration caused by wiping nozzles can result in uneven zinc coating and thickness variations. SINFONIA TECHNOLOGY’s electromagnetic strip stabilizer effectively reduces C-wrapping and vibration, improving coating uniformity. For example, on a 0.5 mm-thick steel sheet moving at 200 m/min, C-wrapping can be reduced from ±4 mm to within ±1 mm, ensuring more stable galvanizing performance.

High-Response Circuit Ensures Excellent Control Stability
Our electromagnetic strip stabilizer features an eddy-current displacement sensor at the center of the electromagnet units, ensuring accurate detection of the steel sheet’s condition and highly stable performance.Capable of analyzing variations as small as 1/100mm, the sensor provides excellent responsiveness and precision.

The molten zinc alloy used in molten galvanizing lines is nearly 420_C. For electromagnetic strip stabilizer to function under such hot conditions, its heat-resistant electromagnet units must be cooled. our electromagnetic strip stabilizer is the first of its kind to be capable of Class C operation. Compared with conventional Class H magnets, Class C magnets have a wider range of rated current, which makes it possible for them withstand higher temperatures. They also support air cooling, enabling a simpler and safer construction.
Resource Conservation, Easy Maintenance
A more uniform galvanized layer saves resources, and thus reduces costs, by preventing the application of excessively thick coatings. Our electromagnetic strip stabilizer uses an air-cooling system that offers greater safety than water cooling while enabling a simpler, more compact design and easier maintenance.
