◆ General Characteristics

• [*1] The input voltage range of the included AC adapter is AC90 to 264V.
  (Output is DC9V) PSE and UL certified.
• [*2] Power is supplied to Po422-S(-P) from the AC adapter included with the Po422-C on the master side, and power is received through the LAN cable.
• Po422 is an abbreviation for Power over RS422.

◆RS232C LAN cable extension

• Po422-CS/Po422-CP is a small and lightweight RS232C⇋RS422 conversion connector set that can be directly connected to a Dsub9 RS232C port
• Can extend communication distance between RS232C devices up to 500 meters (when power is not supplied to the terminal RS232C device)
• Used as a set of two units. Two set variations are available depending on the RS232C connector type on the terminal side
• Model: Po422-CS — includes Po422-C (connects to the PC RS232C port) and Po422-S (connects to a Dsub9-pin male RS232C terminal)
• Model: Po422-CP — includes Po422-C (connects to the PC RS232C port) and Po422-P (connects to a Dsub9-pin female RS232C terminal)
• RS422 cable uses a straight LAN cable, assigned to RS422 transmission, reception, and power lines
• RS422 side is equipped with an RJ45 connector for easy installation using commercially available straight LAN cables
  (LAN cable is customer-supplied or sold separately as an option)
• Power is supplied from the AC adapter connected to Po422-C on the main station side
• Terminal-side units (Po422-S / Po422-P) receive power via the RS422 line
• External devices can also be powered via the DC jack on the Po422-S / Po422-P (output voltage 5V to 8.5V, limited by cable distance)
• Only RS232C data lines (TXD, RXD) are converted
• Optional straight LAN cables are available in 100m, 200m, and 300m lengths (for indoor use)
• Note: Po422 is sold only as a set. Order using model numbers Po422-CS or Po422-CP
• Note: Only straight LAN cables can be used. Cross cables are not supported
