Futaba GYC480 Gyro

Manufacturer: Futaba Corporation
Model: GYC480
Equipped with UR mode for direct operation even through the gyro
The classic grip gyro GYC470 has been redesigned with UR mode!
Features
First, you detect angular velocity with a vibration gyro sensor.
Next, you power it from DC 4.0–8.4 V and draw 30 mA with no servo attached.
Meanwhile, you run confidently from –10°C to +45°C.
For tight installs, you use a 20.7 × 20.7 × 11.0 mm body (no protrusions) that weighs 3.7 g.
Additionally, you check the monitor LED and connect via S.BUS/S.BUS2.
Functions
For maximum speed, you pair it with F-4G UR/SR-mode servos.
Then, you set remote gain from the transmitter (needs a 3+-channel radio with an adjustable third channel).
For RC cars, you load car-specific settings that curb road-surface effects; together with UR response, you sharpen straight-line stability and cornering to cut lap times.
Moreover, you benefit from an ultra-compact, lightweight build thanks to high-density mounting.
For wiring, you connect over S.BUS, and you also run it on non-S.BUS systems.
Importantly, you use digital servos only (Futaba HPS/BLS and other digital types); you don’t use analog servos.
Modes & Tuning
Choose Normal / AVCS and enable High-Speed Response.
Tune turn-in, gyro curve, left/right endpoints, and EXP rate.
Prioritize steering with Stick Priority.
Finally, you adjust settings wirelessly when you use F-4G gear: T10PX, T6PV, R404SBS, R404SBS-E; for GYC480/GYD560, you use the same radios/receivers after a software update.
