This is an optional rooftop antenna (cable length 5m/10m) for LoRa radio.

LoRa wireless devices have a maximum line of sight of 5km, and can communicate without having to place an antenna outside a control panel or distribution board. However, depending on the installation environment, communications may not reach the target. In such cases, installing a rooftop antenna within a 5m range in a location outside the panel where communications can easily pass can improve communication distance.

For wireless communication, we use LoRa (*), a wireless technology for IoT. This allows for line-of-sight communication up to 5km between the parent IoT gateway HLR-GW and the paired HLR-RS485 with wireless device communication functionality, so wireless communication can reach places where conventional 920MHz band specific low-power wireless could not reach without placing a repeater, which has been well received by customers.
