Calcium Silicate Board-SILICA BORAD・SUPER BOARD
Made by a unique production method with calcium silicate as its main ingredient, SILICA BOARD and SUPER BOARD series are lightweight and thermally very efficient. Compared to regular insulating firebricks, the advantage of the size substantially improves its installation efficiency. Particularly, SUPER BOARD L is made from “activated slurry” through the process of so-called hydrothermal synthesis method to make it super lightweight with its bulk density under 0.155g/cm3 SILICA BOARD and SUPER BOARD series with water repellent finish (surface only or entire body) are available depending on your applications.
Typical Applications
Back-up lining of Insulating Firebrick and/or ISOWOOL lining of various industrial furnaces such as
Hot Stove, Reheating Furnace, Soaking Furnace, Electric Furnace, Atmosphere Furnace, Oil Heater,
Ceramic Firing Kiln, Incinerator, Boiler and Duct.
