High S/N ratio, high resolution, and high wavenumber accuracy in a compact body

The 24-bit A/D converter, low-noise electrical system, high-brightness light source, high-performance detector, and high-throughput optical system provide a high S/N ratio of 35,000:1, enabling highly sensitive measurements of small samples and microscopic measurements.

The maximum resolution is 0.4 cm -1 , and the vibrational spectrum of gas can be measured. The automatic aperture is set to the optimum aperture size according to the resolution.

The semiconductor laser realizes a long life and contributes to the miniaturization of the equipment. The laser is oscillated with high precision using the XLD method, achieving a wavenumber precision of 0.0005 cm -1 , equivalent to that of a He-Ne laser.

Maintenance-free structure

The sealed interferometer, known for its robust performance, effectively protects humidity-sensitive optical elements with high sealing capabilities. It eliminates the need for overnight operation or frequent desiccant replacement. A built-in temperature and humidity sensor continuously monitors conditions, ensuring reliable use. The interferometer window plate, made of KRS-5, offers excellent moisture resistance.

The sampling laser, utilizing a long-life semiconductor laser, ensures dependable long-term use. The interferometer mirror employs a corner cube mirror, which cancels disturbances in real time.

Self-diagnosis function

The self-diagnosis function checks the device’s status at startup. If there is an abnormality, you will know immediately. The results are automatically recorded and you can track changes over time, so if a problem occurs with the data, you can go back and check it.

Detectors can be added

It is possible to add additional detectors such as MCT detectors and InGaAs detectors. Users can replace the additional detectors.

Expandable measurement wavenumber range

In addition to the standard mid-infrared, options are available to change to near-mid-infrared (11,500 to 375 cm -1 ) or mid-far-infrared (6,000 to 220 cm -1 or 6,000 to 50 cm -1 ) by replacing the light source, beam splitter, window, and detector.

Spectrum Manager Ver.2.5 is equipped with a navigation function that allows even those who are unfamiliar with infrared analysis to perform measurements in the same way as experts. Once the conditions set using the navigation function are registered in a method, measurement can be started simply by calling up the method.
