Measuring the subsidence of structures
This is to measure the effect of subsidence on structures directly beneath or adjacent to existing structures, such as tunnel construction, root cutting work, etc., during construction or after construction is complete. This device consists of a reference water tank and a detector. The reference tank is fixed at a point that is not affected by the subsidence of the structure as a reference point, while the detector is installed at a measurement point of the structure where subsidence is predicted. The water level difference between the standard water tank and the detector is electrically measured by connecting both with a communication pipe.
