E10 Series Preset Counter
Model
Description
The E10 Series offers a dependable DIN-sized 72 x 72 preset counter with a single level. It features a 6-digit Red LED display, with each figure measuring 10.16 x 5.54mm. This counter is highly reliable and accepts either Contact or Open Collector input signals. It can perform counting in both addition and subtraction modes, as well as bidirectional counting (Quadrature) at speeds of up to 10kHz. When the preset value is reached, the counter triggers a built-in relay. You can set preset values using the digital switches on the front panel. The unit is powered by selectable voltage options of 100/110V or 200/220VAC.

Application
Counters have versatile applications, including counting, sorting, and packaging products. They are also valuable in cutting materials like textiles, paper, and plastic film to specific lengths. Additionally, counters, when paired with rotary encoders, are effective tools for measuring the length of textiles, paper, and plastic film.
Caution
• The counter won’t respond to count or reset signals for the first 100 ms after powering up.
• If you choose Individual Add/Subtract Input, you can’t input additive and subtractive signals simultaneously.
• Make sure to use shielded wires for input and output connections.
• Try to keep input/output wires separated from power wires as much as possible.
• Keep wires for short circuits (jumpers) as brief as you can.
• If you notice noise on input or power wires, consider using a noise suppressor or a power source noise filter.
Dustproof Cover (Optional)
- If you plan to use the counter in harsh environmental conditions like dust or splashes, it’s advisable to use a protective dustproof cover. If you use the cover, make sure the panel cutout is 70 x 70 mm.
