Maeda Koki FITVM Type Flow Indicator
Made in Japan
Manufacturer: Maeda Machinery Research Institute Ltd.
Model: FITVM Type
Features
- Distributes fluid and allows you to see the flow
- Distributes fluid to each branch pipe. Manufacturers can produce the item with anywhere from 2 to 11 distribution branches. Visually check the flow of fluid.
- With flow adjustment valve. You can adjust the valve of each branch pipe while watching the ball position using the red line displayed on the tapered transparent pipe as a guide.
- With flow switch. Detects the flow of fluid and turns the switch ON or OFF at the specified flow rate.
- The setting value of the switch is fixed and cannot be changed later.

Precautions when using flow switches
1. Precautions regarding magnetic fields
- Reed switches are magnetic switches, so use them in a place where they will not be affected by magnetic fields.
- If there is a magnetic material such as iron near the reed switch, it may cause it to malfunction.
2. Electrical wiring precautions
- Be careful when wiring the flow switch to prevent overcurrent from flowing through the reed switch due to poor earth wiring etc.
- Please use the flow switch as an alarm detector whenever possible.
- If you use it in conjunction with other electrical equipment, please take into consideration the effects of malfunction.
- Keeping the operating voltage and current as low as possible will extend the lifespan of the reed switch.
- Under conditions of 100V and 0.5A, the switch can normally operate approximately 1 million times.
3. Caution regarding switch operation due to changes in oil temperature and viscosity
If the temperature or viscosity of the oil changes, the switch may not operate at the set flow rate or the switch operating flow rate may change.
