This is an ultrasonic transmission type web edge sensor. It is used in combination with G-series controllers and drive units for controlling web meandering. Because it is not affected by the transparency, color, or pattern of the web, it is suitable for edge detection of transparent objects.

Features
- Because the web edge position is detected by changes in the amount of ultrasonic waves transmitted, it can be accurately detected without being affected by color, pattern, or transparency.
- The “400S” with a switch panel is convenient because mode switching and teaching operations can be performed directly on the sensor unit. Furthermore, the switch panel version allows for a simpler system (driver and sensor only) without the need for a PEM-type controller.
