This is an infrared-transmissive web edge sensor. It is used in combination with G-series controllers and drive units for web meandering control. It is suitable for edge detection of opaque webs and nonwoven fabrics.

Features
- The device uses infrared light as its light source and is suitable for detecting meandering in transparent and opaque films, as well as nonwoven fabrics.
- In dusty environments, the “DB” type with a dust blowing unit is effective.
- The “W” type, with its small throat, is mainly used for roll guides, while the “WX” type, with its larger throat, is mainly used for winding and unwinding trolleys.
- The “75WS” and “75WXS” models, which come with a switch panel, are convenient because mode switching and teaching operations can be performed directly on the sensor unit. Furthermore, models with a switch panel can be used in a simpler system (driver and sensor only) without the need for a PEM-type controller.
