Daihen Screw Stud
Products Made in Japan
Manufacturer: DAIHEN Stud Co.,LTD
Model: Screw Stud
Headed Stud
Headed stud is often used as a composite component that joins steel beams and concrete with a shear connector (crowned stud). By this way, it can withstand extremely strong bending force.
Matsudo factory: Factory certification: JIS B 1198. Certification number: JQ 0508060
Izumi factory: Factory certification: JIS B 1198. Certification number: JQ 0507127
Application
Architecture: beams, floorboards, pillars
Civil engineering: beams, caissons, submerged boxes, etc.

Heterogeneous stud
Heterogeneous studs are widely used as joint reinforcing bars for expansion joints of road bridges, pillars of steel slab bridges, building foundation pile head joints, earthquake resistant walls, pillar anchor plates and others.
Steel bars for reinforced concrete SD 295 A, B and SD 345 prescribed in JIS G 3112 have no carbon, hence greatly affect the weldability. On the contrary, if there is any amount of carbon in steel bars, this amount will be very high and it cannot be an appropriate welding material.
We have made an agreement with steel bar manufacturers on the many specifications like: chemical composition and mechanical properties of steel bars in order to achieve good welding ability and deforming studs.
Application
JFE-DS 400 D (KDS 400 D): Rebar of bridge-oriented steel expansion joint such as anchor bar, high wall column, median strip (D 25 only)
JFE-DS 490 D (KDS 490 D): pile head stud construction method, epoquin stud method, scud lock method, earthquake resistant wall, caisson, etc

Threaded Stud
Threaded studs are mainly used in the fields of shipbuilding, automobiles, electrical machinery, boilers, etc.
With reference to the discontinued JIS B 1197, JIS G 3507 Aluminized Steel (Chemically Assurance Material), carbon steel wire with cold rolling process was used for threaded studs of Daihen Stud Co., Ltd.,
It does not only ensure good weldability but also satisfies mechanical properties of the stud after welding (mechanical properties JIS B 1051)
Application
Construction, marine structure, caisson bridge, floor plate, electrical equipment, lighting lamp etc.
