Additionally, it accommodates high-speed winding, continuous and frequent operations, and can handle cables with both large diameters and long lengths.
Furthermore, to ensure the best cable tension, the motor synchronizes perfectly with the movement of the object in motion.

Feature of contorq motor type cable reel

This “cable reel” boasts a driving force sourced from a totally enclosed fan-cooled motor combined with an oil immersion slip unit.
Moreover, it’s designed to ward off dust and rainwater.
Ideal for powering ship-to-shore cranes, stirring mechanisms, and steel mill carts, this reel offers a range of winding techniques.
However, one limitation is its inability to function in inverted or sideways installations.

Structure
Winding cable with Totally-enclosed-fan-cooled motor (IP55) drive. Assembled from the following modular components:
SLIP UNIT (slip mechanism)
Gearbox containing reduction gear Slip ring
Drum etc.
Slip unit
The SLIP UNIT plays a crucial role in ensuring consistent torque transmission from the motor.
This unit’s friction surface is created between radially arranged friction plates on the spindle and a circular plate linked to gears via an internal bearing.
By harnessing the friction from the oil film, it can regulate and deliver a steady torque. (For a detailed visual, refer to the accompanying picture on the next page.)
