The bellows-shaped lantern ring made of PTFE filled with carbon/graphite does not stick inside the stuffing box and is easy to install and remove.

For fluids containing foreign matter such as slurry or wastewater, we combine W2S lantern rings with Slade gland packings to provide a high level of sealing that makes effective use of water injection.

In addition, you can reduce the number of rings in valves by using W2S spacer bushings (without water holes).

How to use W2S

Before use, cut the W2S to adjust the length.

Cut it little by little in several sections to adjust the length. Cut the W2S so that both ends of the W2S are slightly pressed together inside the stuffing box.

Please align the joints on both ends with the position of the water inlet

When performing maintenance, you can easily remove the gasket by screwing the corkscrew of the gasket removal tool into the gap in the bellows shape.
