Summary

Typically, a four-way solenoid valve operates the double-acting cylinder.

A four-way solenoid valve mainly has five pipe connecting ports: one inlet, two outlets, and two exhaust ports. Since it is always closed, the exhaust port provides one of the four directional functions.

A double latch solenoid, with two coils inside, allows valve switching by energizing one of the coils. The valve does not switch to self-holding form, even if a power outage occurs after energization.

Feature

Hard anodized aluminum coats the inner sliding parts, allowing them to slide easily and operate without oil lubrication, preventing sticking and slipping, and providing excellent wear resistance.

The main parts, made of aluminum alloy, are compact and light.

Replacing AC and DC coils is easy because both fit into the same casing.

Anti-corrosion treatment with hard anodized aluminum ensures high corrosion resistance.

The Ministry of Labor certifies these explosion-proof type valves.

The main valve, a balance piston type, switches by a control piston without needing a spring. This design prevents malfunctions caused by spring action, even after long periods of inactivity.

A manual button allows for operation checks or testing.

Reliable operation occurs at a minimum pressure of 0.1 MPa, as no air loss is produced.

These valves can also function as three-way valves by selecting three out of the five ports.
