The KFWS series foil strain gauges are compact and waterproof, ideal for measuring strain outdoors or underwater when there’s not much space for attaching them.
Kyowa KFWS120ohm 2-axis models are particularly noteworthy. Their waterproof resin is only 1.3 mm thick, which allows them to be flexible enough to adhere to a curved surface with a diameter of 10 mm.
