Maeda Koki MKCM Type Water Signal

Made in Japan
Manufacturer: Maeda Machinery Research Institute Ltd.
Model: MKCM Type

Features

  • Flow switch
  • Detects the flow of fluid and turns the switch ON or OFF at the specified flow rate.
  • *The switch is fixed (the setting cannot be changed later). A flow detector that checks the flow of fluid by the movement of a float inside a transparent tube that allows you to see the water flow at a glance.
  • Comes with a protective cover. The metal protective cover reduces the possibility of damage from external impacts.
  • No need to worry about the installation direction.Because a spring is used inside, the installation position can be freely changed, such as upward, downward, or sideways.

Precautions when using flow switches

1. Precautions regarding magnetic fields

Reed switches are magnetic switches, so use them in a place where they will not be affected by magnetic fields.
If there is a magnetic material such as iron near a reed switch, it may cause it to malfunction.

2. Electrical wiring precautions

When wiring a flow switch, pay attention to prevent overcurrent from flowing through the reed switch due to poor earth wiring, etc.
Whenever possible, use the flow switch as an alarm detector.
When using in conjunction with other electrical equipment, be sure to take into consideration the impact of malfunction before handling.
The life of the reed switch will be extended if the operating voltage and current are kept as low as possible.
(Normally, the switch can be operated approximately 1 million times under conditions of 100V, 0.5A.)
