  • Lightweight
    By replacing the steel shaft body with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), it is possible to reduce the weight to approximately half of the original mass. *This comparison is for the main body only, excluding the shaft end.

  • High strength and minimal deflection
    Using aluminum alloy for the shaft body to reduce weight significantly reduces strength and increases deflection compared to steel, making it unsuitable for high load applications. In the case of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), the reduction in strength is minimal, and the increase in deflection is also minimal, making it suitable for high load applications similar to steel.
  • Low inertia and eco-friendly
    The GD² (inertia) of a carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) shaft is approximately half that of an aluminum alloy shaft and about one-fifth that of a steel shaft. This means that the energy consumption for rotational motion is reduced, making it an eco-friendly air shaft that is in line with modern standards.
  • Beautiful exterior
    The outer circumference of the carbon pipe features a beautiful checkered cross-wrap finish. Furthermore, CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) has high corrosion resistance and will not rust.
