This is a special level gauge for steam boilers with a structure in which reinforced gauge glasses are placed on the front and back of the gauge body, sandwiched between covers and tightened with bolts so that the liquid level can be seen through. The light from the lighting device installed on the back shows the gas phase in red and the liquid phase in blue.

Structure and operation of two-color water level gauge

The dual-color level gauge utilizes optical principles and is configured so that steam appears red and water appears blue. The structure is such that when the light passes through a trapezoidal water chamber made up of two gauge glasses, the light is refracted by the glass and the red filter glass is visible when the water chamber is steam. Conversely, if there is water in the water chamber, the light will be refracted by the gauge glass and the water to see the blue filter glass.

Visibility

• Since the liquid level is displayed separately in two colors (red and blue), the liquid level can be clearly seen.
• Suitable for visual monitoring and remote TV monitoring.

Diversity

• If you want to increase the visible length, you can arrange the level gauges alternately on the left and right.

Notes: It is not possible to check the two-color display depending on the position or angle when checking the liquid level.
