- When you attach the clamp to a steel rod, the combination of the curved plates and the cam works together to create a strong grip.
- Plus, if you connect the supplied rope to the remote control lever, you get another benefit: a simple tug on the rope lets you quickly release the clamp from the workpiece, locking it in the open position.
