Product Information

HIGH TONE GAUGE measures expiratory pressure by blowing air into the tip of the tube. It measures the maximum pressure attained and provides data in kPa (kilopascal). This data serves as a benchmark to improve wind instrument performance, such as playing the trumpet, by indicating the player’s potential to produce high tones.

Furthermore, lack of exercise and aging can lead to shallow breathing and a decline in respiratory capacity. Using the HIGH TONE GAUGE to monitor expiratory pressure can help in maintaining proper breathing capacity by providing numerical feedback from training.
