Hinged cantilevers like these find application in narrow-gauge railway lines. They employ a sturdy, bent φ60.5 pipe to integrate the horizontal and slant main pipes, which experience significant bending and compressive forces. Thin pipes are employed for the remaining sections to ensure a lightweight construction.
