Single operation

Measurement can be started just after the power is on without any configuration.

Serial number and calibration date shown when turned on

There is no sticker on the body to prevent contamination.
Upon powering up the unit, it immediately displays both its serial number and the date of its last factory recalibration. This feature ensures straightforward and efficient on-site management.
Note: Only the unit calibrated at our factory shows a calibration date. Users cannot edit it.

Display hold and auto power-off functions

Hold function enables a measured value fixed on display to improve the readability while the temperature changes too frequently.
Auto power-off function enables the device turned off automatically if not in use for 60 minutes. It saves battery even if you forget to turn the power off. As needed, this function can be released.

Resistant body to water, impact, heat and alcohol

Crafted with a polycarbonate resin body, the SK-270WP-K boasts improved resistance to heat, impact, and alcohol, surpassing the traditional ABS resin in performance. The IP67 waterproof rating of the SK-270WP-K guarantees safe cleaning under running water when a probe is connected, and it is also suitable for cleaning with alcohol wipes. Additionally, the durability of the device is enhanced by the use of robust PET resin in its display section and keypad.

Durable, hygienic body and easy-to-read display

Rubber around the side of the body reduces the damages due to falling. Also, the device is designed to contain as few holes and ditches as possible to prevent contamination. The slanted back improves the readability of the display.
The photos provided show the front (left) and rear side (right) of the SK-270WP. It’s important to note that the SK-270WP-K variant does not feature a hook on the top.

Optional probes

Various sensor probes are provided for a variety of applications. Every probe is made of materials regulated by Japan’s Food Sanity Act. Probes can be interchangeably used with a main unit.
